Use more than the capital
A major city can be far from the capital. Think about its coast, river or neighbouring region rather than placing every city in the country’s centre.

Learn from one miss
Read the revealed coordinates. If you found the correct country but missed its eastern coast, keep that single correction rather than trying to memorize a full map at once.
